Got stems from my buddy for a remix, slices them up and used my march sequencer to generate some rhythms. some granular effects over some of the channels with effects form the melodic element. Headphone mix, I'm pretty happy with it. I think I've gotten used to my headphones again after using them pretty heavily this week, but haven't referenced this on anything else.

Weird semi stable rhythm, messing with the groove in weird ways. I'd like this patch to be more focused with some controls to add fills and progression. This is more of a demo for what I might do with the remix.

Again only getting about 4 hours this week for WB, which I'm finding is enough time to fuck around but not do anything significant patch wise. Most of this week has been setting up the house for both my partner and I to work. My University closed this week and I delivered my classes live online, which I'll be doing for the next few months now. It'll be interesting to read this back at the end of the year.

Hoping to get some time to catch up with the last two weeks of WB submissions over the next week too. Hope everyone is safe out there.

oh it's always worth stopping by here m8 to have a wee gander tidbits of wtf and lovely abstract goodies

Sounds great mate.  So have you set up some kind of side chain action for some of the higher tones or they have their own envelopes drawn in for volume?

I've been teaching online now also.  Overall it's been going quite well really.  Not sure about you but one college I teach at has said term 3 will be all online!  Crazy times.  Hope you're doing well with all that's going on.

This is awesome.

So is teaching online. The first week (which was the week this was uploaded) was pretty exhausting and I was doing so much overtime to get shit working. But now that it's flowing it's great. Going to be hard to go back to the campus once this all goes away.

Side note, I've always been somewhat envious of people who (successfully) make beat-based music in Max. I've never found the patching environment particularly conducive to my thinking about stable rhythms. Which is totally ok, it's just really nice to hear when it works well for people.
